As we see hypertension is not a structural or physiological disorder, so we can say that it is not a disease. It is a symptom of the structural disorder (disease), “narrowing and hardening of the arteries”. This narrowing blocks the flow of blood through the arteries which produces hypertension or high blood pressure.So, hypertension is not a disease, it is symptom of a disease.
There are two types of hypertension. Let’s have a brief.
Primary Hypertension is high blood pressure without any hidden reason or disease is called primary or essential hypertension. 90 to 95 percent people with high blood pressure have primary hypertension.
Secondary Hypertension is High blood pressure because of any other disease or illness like chronic kidney disease. Only 5-10 percent patients are under this condition.
When you go to a doctor to get your blood pressure checked, just for your own satisfaction and she says you have a high blood pressure. You need not worry after reading this post. You know it is primary hypertension and it is not a serious disease.But if it prolongs, it may become a cause of serious illness like failure of kidneys and some other dangerous diseases. Thus, it becomes obligatory for me to discuss the causes of hypertension and recommend some remedies to avoid these causes.

As you see all the causes listed above are directly related to personal habits and no one but you can eliminate these. By getting rid of the drinking and smoking, sparing some time for daily exercise and instead of only serving our taste buds, shifting to the natural and simple foods can help us to escape high blood pressure.
The social disturbances like anxiety, fear and unrest can be minimized by sharing and caring. If you have good social life, chances are that you do not catch hypertension so easily. Getting laid or having someone you can physically touch also lowers stress and anxiety and hence stress-generated hypertension.
